Love ’em or hate ’em, chunky Dad sneakers are here to stay. What started as a passing fad has become firmly entrenched in fashion reality, with all brands from luxury greats, sport behemoths and high-street giants joining in the fray. Just walk down any major shopping street and you’ll definitely spot many pairs within minutes, including the now iconic Triple S from Balenciaga.

And speaking of Balenciaga, here’s their much hyped follow-up, the Track Sneaker. Set to drop on 24 September 2018 in 5 colours for men and 2 colours for the ladies at selected Balenciaga stores worldwide, here’s the good news. The Track Sneaker will be available in Singapore at Marina Bay Sands, so if you really want to cop a pair come launch day, you’ll already know what to do. How much, you ask? No exact word on the price in SGD yet, but a check online via balenciagatrack.com shows it priced at GBP550 a pair. Which makes it around SGD985 or so. Who wants a pair?

This just in. The sneakers are expected to sell for SGD1190 a pair (same as the Triple S), and you should start calling the MBS store in Singapore with your colour/size preference to make your reservations first. #happyshopping
