Givenchy 4G Logo Printed Leather Clutch


Monograms are everywhere these days. Gucci brought theirs back to life and made it cool again. Burberry has a new one but it has yet to be officially launched. And then there’s Givenchy and their 4G logo (and by 4G they mean 4 interlocking Gs and nothing to do with your cell network) that has been revived by Clare Waight Keller. It isn’t exactly new, but it certainly begs the question. Do luxury labels need to push out monograms just to be relevant?

And whilst you are pondering that, let me go on regarding this clutch that measures some 29 cm across by 19.5 cm. Composed of printed textured leather featuring the 4G monogram, there’s the addition of a huge blue G on the front, just in case you were confused about the clutch’s origins.
