Reebok Run.r 96 Sneakers

With every sneaker brand out there releasing their very own version of a chunky oversized sneaker, it can be pretty hard for the average consumer to nail down one that ticks all the right boxes. Until now.

Meet Reebok’s Run.r 96, an all-new sneaker which kinda reminds you of the Pyer Moss x Reebok DMX Fusion, but in a much more subdued silhouette. Instead of the messy laces running all over the sneaker, there’s just one pair latched across the front via a cord lock that’s uniquely Reebok. The upper comes in a mix of fabric and faux leather pieces that’s just about right, giving it a minimalistic aesthetic that’s pleasing to the eye. The split-cushioned sole is sufficiently chunky (yes, that’s a key criteria in what goes behind today’s sneaker trend) and takes design cues from Reebok’s Pump Evo prototype that was created back in 1996. The EVA insole, on the other hand, will give you that added spring and comfort you need on and off the gym.

After running through a list of online sites that are carrying the Run.r 96, it seems that Slam Jam Socialism has the best range of sizes running from EU39 right up to EU45.5, and at the most affordable price of EUR205 (without VAT), or around SGD325 after conversion. More good news? They are also offering free worldwide shipping via DHL for purchases above EUR200, which means you a) will not have to pay more and b) probably get it in 3 days or less.
