Louis Vuitton Malle Fleurs

Sometimes you never know what you’ll find when you’re surfing online. More specifically, Louis Vuitton’s online site that has a whole lot more than you could ever imagine. Take the Malle Fleurs, for example, which until recently was assumed to be something that could only have been made via private order. Or maybe I got it mixed up with something else, but I guess the most important thing to note here is yes, you can actually buy one of these, fill it up with flowers and have it sent to the ones (or one) you love.

Originally something from the 1910s that was created by the house for their very best of clients, you know, the types who probably ordered hundreds of trunks for the whole manor’s use, the 29.5 cm by 14.5 cm by 10.5 cm hard-sided trunk is well-equipped to hold floral arrangements as well. There’s a coated brass tray that’s also waterproof that you set the arrangement on, or if you really want, use the tray as a base for your one-of-a-kind terrarium to hold succulents in.

The only downside? It will take around a month to get this baby made once you placed your order. And it will set you back by almost SGD10,000, or the equivalent of around 40 good floral bouquets you can get from any decent florist. But like they say, flowers won’t last forever, but this beautifully made trunk will.

I am making sense, right?
