Goyard Bourgogne Bag

Goyard’s latest bag to hit the shelves, the Bourgogne, isn’t an entirely new piece per se, but rather a re-edition of a classic from the archives that date back to the 60s. Given a fresh update, it’s a structured piece, one that is able to stand upright on its own without additional support.

Better yet, the Bourgogne features a streamlined, elongated look with two vertical leather strips running down the front and back, giving it a sleek shape that complements its tote-like silhouette to perfection. What’s new in this updated version includes the addition of a patch pocket right in front, one that’s great for sliding quick access cards and a mobile phone, without having to reach deep into the main compartment.

The other cool feature? Turn the bag around and you will find a slot that allows you to slot your morning papers or magazine right though. Secured by a top zip closure, it opens to a raw inner lining that’s equipped with another slip pocket within. The raw lining contributes to the bag’s lightweight nature, which is always a plus for the modern man on the go.

The Bourgogne is available in a single size that measures 40 cm high by 36 cm wide and comes in 4 colours, all of which are suitable for the workplace. The ones in Black and Black/Tan (pictured above) is priced at SGD2900 each, while Grey and Navy will set you back by SGD3780. No word yet if this bag will come in other colours, but you can always head down to Goyard Takashimaya Shopping Centre and check in with the SAs there. And check in on this handsome beast as well.
