Louis Vuitton Epi Alma Mini

The Alma has been a firm favourite amongst fans of Louis Vuitton ever since the bag’s introduction in 1992, and always mentioned whenever one speaks of icons from the French luxury house. Appearing from time to time in both runway and commercial collections in a myriad of colours, materials and sizes that range from the tiny Nano right up to XXL, she’s been through them all. And because new additions to the family are always welcomed, especially when they are cute and small (much like babies, really), meet the one that’s known as the Alma Mini.

The most noticeable difference? Gone are the top handles, making it much easier to reach for the zips. Also meant to be worn across the body or over the shoulder via the chain and leather strap, the bag measures just 21 cm by 16 cm. Something else to take note of? While most of the Epi bags have their leather grain placed horizontally, the Alma Mini comes with the leather slanted upwards in a diagonal manner.

As far as colours are concerned, there are 5 to choose from, starting with Blanc (White) and Noir (Black) to the bright hues like Citron (Yellow) and Coquelicot (Red, shown above), as well as a sweet pastel in Rose Ballerina (Pink). Another point worth noting is that the Alma Mini will not come with a padlock nor a clochette key holder, which is also why it is priced slightly lower at SGD1860. In other words, a fun sling bag that’s perfect for summer which won’t break the bank. What’s not to love?
