Victoria Beckham’s Half Moon Box raised a couple of eyebrows when it was launched a couple of seasons back, with similarities to a much-loved Parisian label the fashion world has grown to love. This Spring-Summer 2018, Mrs Beckham has decided to give the Half Moon Box a quick redesign that’s truly unique to the Victoria Beckham label, called the Double Moon. Or so you think.

Its difference lies in the two flap closures (actually, it does look familiar, doesn’t it) that can be accessed via a gold metal piston clasp that’s armed with a double lock mechanism. Unbuckling the first lock opens to a roomy inner (main) compartment that’s basically how any normal bag would function. The second flap can be undone as well, giving an additional slip pocket compartment for you to add even more stuff, like secret notes from that secret admirer of yours.

Measuring 25 cm wide and 21 cm high, with a crescent-shaped silhouette (hence the name) that’s easy on the eyes, the bag can be worn 3 different ways and is priced at SGD2760 online via Victoria Beckham. Classic? Yes. Pretty? Yes. Though it should be said that VB is a master when it comes to bringing elements from other houses she likes and creating pieces that are well, same, yet different. And the bonus? At least it’s a really good interpretation versus just a bad and obvious copy.
