Louis Vuitton Speedy & Keepall 101 (With Updated Prices In SGD)

Very few brands can truly attest to having bag designs that can stand the test of time quite like Louis Vuitton. One of which is the Speedy which has been in continued production since their debut in the 30s. Created by Georges Vuitton (Louis Vuitton’s son), it was actually from the Keepall (then a popular bag used for travels) that the Speedy was subsequently created, a miniature of sorts for those who wanted a bag smaller but no less functional.

Today, both bags remain popular classics that you just can’t go wrong with. And with the ongoing logo revival amongst the fashion crowd, these are the Monogram Canvas bags you can spend your last penny on because they will never go out of style.

And because it’s been awhile (2 years, to be exact) since the last post on Louis Vuitton’s Monogram Canvas Speedy and its prices, here’s an updated post rounded up just for you because prices have gone up. For starters, the Speedy25 comes in at SGD1370, while the Speedy30 retails at SGD1400. Going upwards, the Speedy35 is priced at SGD1430, while the Speedy40 is now SGD1460, which isn’t bad if you are shopping on a budget.

For those who require a bag that comes with the additional sling, the Speedy Bandouliere (essentially the Speedy with a detachable strap) would be it. Available in the same 4 sizes, the prices start from SGD1960 for the 25, SGD2000 for the 30, SGD2040 for the 35, and last but not least, SGD2070 for the 40.

Now, for those of you looking for sizes bigger than the 40, that’s where the Keepall comes in. Coming in 4 sizes as well, it starts from the Keepall45 at SGD1940, with an additional SGD30 for the next larger size. That would mean SGD1970 for Keepall50, SGD2000 for Keepall55 and SGD2030 for Keepall60.

If you require a Keepall with a strap (yes, they do exist), here are the prices. Priced at SGD2450, SGD2480, SGD2510 and SGD2540 respectively for the 4 sizes, there’s truly something for everyone depending on how much you want to pay and what you want to do with it.

Aside from Monogram Canvas, it’s the same for the other two coated-canvas variations, the Damier Azur and the Damier Ebene. Anything else such as Monogram Macassar, Epi, or other leather variations would be priced differently and if you’re keen, best you enquire with your local Louis Vuitton boutique for more information.
