Louis Vuitton Kasai Clutch

The Kasai Clutch isn’t exactly a new bag from Louis Vuitton, but it’s certainly one that deserves a little shoutout here on the blog. It’s perfect for the man looking for a handy bag that’s sleek, cool and armed with a number of practical features that makes it a truly functional sidekick.

For one, it’s compact, coming in at a width of just 6 cm, with everything you need kept neatly within. You wouldn’t have to carry a wallet either, as the clutch comes with 10 credit slots within. As for your cash, receipts and other slips, you can slot them behind the multiple flat pockets. Available in a single size of 24 cm by 16 cm, you can be assured that it will have ample space for other modern day essentials like your mobile phone, portable charger and wireless earphones as well.

Moving on to the exterior, the Kasai Clutch comes with an extra zipped pocket that’s great if you need a ‘quickie’ compartment. Finished with a detachable leather wrist strap that’s a plus for added security (you know, being looped over your wrist as well), it comes in a wide variety of coated-canvas styles. From Damier Graphite to Damier Ebene and even Monogram Macassar, they are finished with leather bottoms. Priced at SGD1650, you can also opt for the full leather ones in Epi or Taiga that start from SGD1900 apiece. Looking for a man clutch that doesn’t reek of old casino uncle? This is it.

To compare with the Pochette Voyage, which one do you prefer?

To be honest, I like this more simply because it has more depth, you can carry around wider things in it without the sides of your stuff pressing against the canvas…
