Logomania’s back, everyone knows that. But doing it well, that’s another thing altogether because I’ve seen many that are ghastly. Thankfully, in Fendi’s case, their FF logo is as much a graphic as it is a pattern, and having seen it appear on a selection of bags for the S/S18 collection, I can safely say that it works. Especially on the bigger styles, since sometimes more can be too much.

Take the leather Runaway Shopper for example, that comes topped with woven rattan handles. Definitely more retro than anything else, it’s giving me the most tropical of vibes, the type of the bag you throw everything into and head for the beach. Big enough for all your beach essentials (you know, towel, book, sunscreen and so on), there’s something about the raised FF lettering on tobacco leather that’s love. Finished with a large zip pocket in front, this would be your summer must-have this season. Or go for the woven technical mesh variation that’s also a lot more affordable but no less fun.
