You would already know of the Clasp Bag, Céline’s homage to vintage bags that’s all about the almost-squarish (and flat) body topped with a single handle. Now have a look at another member of the Clasp family that’s also very much vintage-inspired. Known as the Large Clasp Wallet On Chain, its long name also pretty much explains what it is, a 21.5 cm by 12.5 cm long wallet that comes with a long shoulder chain.

Crafted out of fine calfskin that’s also lined with the same leather, it does come with an added bonus, a removable leather card pouch that can be used with or separately from the wallet. Priced at SGD2200 for the calf leather ones, you’ll find a large gusset, two flat pockets, as well as 6 credit card slots in each long wallet. Or go all out and get the one in exotic lizard that’s priced at SGD4200. Sure it costs almost double, but can you imagine its patina some 10 or 20 years down the road?
