Anya Hindmarch Smells: Oh Boy Does She Smell… Good.

Anya Hindmarch has always been a label that’s rather cheeky, from its unmistakable embossed leather stickers and fun bags to googly eye embellishments now synonymous with the British label. Today, the label takes the fun factor up a notch by launching a collection of candles under Anya Hindmarch Smells, one that’s created in collaboration with perfumer Lyn Harris and lovingly hand-poured in England.

Made up of 3 different scents that evoke memories of a warm summer’s day, the first is Baby Powder, a soft oriental fragrance that carries a mix of bergamot, Italian mandarin and flowery notes of rose petal and violet leaf. Over time, hints of tonic bean and musk comes through, creating a soft scent that’s equalling calming and heartwarming. Then there’s Coffee, a dark woody scent that reminds you of early mornings where the aroma of coffee beans is an absolute essential. Think of cardamom, vetiver and patchouli mixed with Virginian cedar wood, frankincense and amber to create a musky scent that’s perfect for the enigmatic individual.

Rounding up the trio is Sun Lotion, a scent that channels memories of a day under the sun surrounded by the freshest of flowers. Let the candle burn for a good 30 minutes, and you can expect sharp notes of Sicilian lemons and orange flowers with a hint of Texas cedar wood and vanilla filling up the room.

Each box comes printed with Anya Hindmarch’s iconic sticker graphics, which makes for the perfect Christmas gift (yes, #christmasiscoming) or birthday present. Priced at SGD90 for the small 175g candle and SGD290 for the larger 3-wick 700g candle, you’d be pleased to know that all three scents in both sizes are now available at Anya Hindmarch’s boutique in Takashimaya Department Store. #happyshopping
