Unless you’ve been staving off Instagram or the app’s algorithm got your feed all wonky, you would have caught an image or two of the upcoming Vans collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld. And with a total of 10 styles to be made available in Singapore from RTW pieces that include essentials like a bomber jacket, a hoodie and 2 tees (along with a backpack and cap as far as accessories are concerned), the other half is made up of what Vans does best naturally, shoes.

A total of six Vans’ classic shoe styles are given the Karl’s special twist (4 of which are available in SG), elevating these street favourites. There’s the Classic Slip-On furnished with K-quilted detailing, while the Old Skool and Sk8-Hi Reissue are given premium leather uppers complete with boucle fabric panels. The other 3 include 2 ‘new styles’ (essentially laceless versions of Vans iconic silhouettes) named the SK8-Hi Laceless Platform and Old Skool Laceless Platform, which come finished in luxe leather atop white platform soles. Last but by no means least (and the one to keep your eyes peeled for), the classic black and white Checkerboard Classic Slip-On will feature the special Karl Lagerfeld camo print that will fly off the racks the fastest.

To be launched worldwide come 7 September 2017, it will be available worldwide at Karl Lagerfeld boutiques as well as selected Vans stores (in Singapore, that would be Vans ION Orchard, as well as all 3 Limited Edt boutiques). Prices range from SGD59 to SGD429 for all 10 styles available here, so there’s definitely something for everyone.
