Comme des Garçons x Andy Warhol Foundation: ‘You’re In’ Fragrance

Comme des Garçons collaborates with the Andy Warhol Foundation to release a fragrance that’s named after (and inspired by) Andy Warhol’s controversial artwork You’re In. The artwork of the very same name was created by Andy Warhol back in 1967 out of Coke bottles (yes, the old school glass Coke bottles and not the common canned ones we see today) that were spray-painted silver with a pale-yellow fragrance within that caused quite a stir.

While the original artwork/fragrance did receive a cease-and-desist from Coca Cola, Comme des Garçons revived the idea behind it some 50 years later, coming up with 6 unique silver industrial-looking flasks decorated with a whimsical quote by Andy Warhol on the exterior and a unisex citrus scent within.

While the bold graphics are perfect for your next Instagram flatlay, it’s what’s inside that truly matters. With You’re In, the top notes start strong with citrus notes of bitter orange, aldehydes and makrut lime zest. Over time, the middle notes surface, with jasmine, coriander leaf and pittosporum for that fresh and concentrated boost you need through the day. As the top and middle notes wear off, you will reach the base notes, one that’s filled with cashmere wood, musk and metallic amber, making it a truly unique scent that Comme des Garçons’ fragrances are known for.
