Gucci Fall 2017 Courrier SLGs

Gucci’s new Courrier collection is cute. There, I said it. Having gained quite a bit of buzz from the day it was released (seriously, because it is that cute, that’s why), it is essentially a series of bags and SLGs inspired by Creative Director Alessandro Michele’s love of travel, which is also a major source of inspiration for him when it comes to his collections. Evident on the patches/prints embroidered/printed onto the GG Supreme coated-canvas body, it is a fun and whimsical collection, looking like how we’d slap on printed stickers onto our luggages from places we’ve visited.

Besides a series of bags in a number of shapes and sizes, the Gucci Courrier collection extends further into a selection of SLGs, like these 3 that were spotted at the Gucci ION Orchard boutique. Coming in an eye-catching airmail (red-white-blue) leather trim with an assortment of graphic patches/prints, there’s no stopping you ladies (yes, it is from the mens collection) from getting a piece or two thanks to its quirky unique look that both sexes can pull off equally well.

Measuring 13 cm by 8 cm is the card case that is priced at SGD590, essentially a 3-compartment zippered pouch that comes with an embroidered dragon and printed city appliqué that work well together. Then there’s a passport case (SGD640) and the billfold wallet (SGD680) that also come jazzed up with the iconic Gucci logo taken from the archives, along with other cute appliqués added on. The beauty of each piece is in the way the embroidered appliqué is hand-applied individually by skilled craftsmen, so no two pieces are exactly the same.

All available in Singapore with more styles expected soon, here’s a quick update on the iPhone7Plus phone case situation at Gucci. Yes, we’ve waited a long time for this, so you’ll be pleased to know this, with the Angry Cat print, will fit phones that size and is priced at SGD330. Now go shop first and thank me later. #happyshopping
