Fall-Winter 2017 Womens Bally

IMAGE: BALLY

Bally’s Fall-Winter 2017 collection is all about the fun and decadent 70s, with the hero of the collection none other than the lovely Janelle. Identified by its signature oversized buckle, the Janelle is a slip-on shoe that comes in a wide range of colours and sports two heeled versions, a 30 mm and a 85 mm. You’d be able to spot the Janelle in the imagery here, available in an array of iridescent metallic hues as well as in a cool leopard print, which will retail between SGD990 and SGD1230. Janelle’s sister, Jaclyn (SGD990), is a patent leather version of the Janelle that’s no less pretty in black and white.

Now, before you get confused with all the bags pictured, we’ll break it down for you such that it gets much easier as you get through the post. 6 in all, so see if you can spot them all at the end of this post.

First up, there’s Belle, which is part of the Janelle family that’s easily recognised by the signature oversized belt buckle right up front. Covered in an exotic leopard print that’s pretty chic, the Belle comes in 2 sizes (Small and Large) that retail for SGD2190 and SGD2990 respectively. Next, we’ve got the Amoeba that’s close to Belle, easily identified by its distinct B Olique hardware in front. A great everyday work bag thanks to its top handle and easy-to-reach zips, the Amoeba also comes in two sizes (Small and Large) and priced SGD1790 and SGD2390 respectively.

Moving on, we got the Sommet in cow print pony hair that you’ve seen on my Instagram page previously. A good-looking work bag that’s a tad quirky, the bag comes in 2 sizes (Small, SGD1990 and Medium, SGD2390). On the lush velvet floor pictured with the Sommet stands 2 other bags – the Etoile and the Suzy. The diamond-quilted Etoile works as a great evening bag and retails for SGD2790. The Suzy, on the other hand, comes in a new tri-panel front flap that features a mix of leather, python and suede on a lush Merlot-hued body.

On to #6, we see the B Turn, which is named so due to the turn clasp that is shaped like the B, a subtle nod to the label’s name. Something interesting to note about the B Turn bag is its ability to be buckled inward (and in so doing hiding the side flaps) or unbuckled to reveal a roomier and relaxed-looking body shape. Most bags come in 2 sizes so it’s no surprise that the B-Turn will come in a Small and Medium that retail for SGD2590 and SGD2990 respectively.

And that concludes this super-quick crash course on everything Bally you need to know (and maybe buy) for the season. A label to definitely watch, they are getting better season by season, and with prices still much lower as compared to the larger luxury players, this could be the brand for you if you’re looking for pieces that are easy on the eyes, easy on the pocket and different from what everyone else is carrying today.
