In today’s bag equivalent of ‘Bitch Stole My Look’, may I present the lovechild of Céline’s Classic and Trotteur had they ever come together and consummated their union. Yes, the resemblance to its ‘parents’ in Victoria Beckham’s new Nano Half Moon Box (GBP845) is almost remarkable. For starters, you’ll definitely notice that sexy half-moon curve (same as the Trotteur) that’s finished with a locking clasp that’s clearly from the Classic.

Available in an assortment of Philo-approved colours (think Black, Celadon and Ruby Red), the Nano measures some 17 cm by 13 cm, comes with a really long sling and is lined with suede, with all the makings of a pretty decent fun weekend bag. And while it isn’t an exact copy of anything, do we laud the genius inside Victoria Beckham’s design studio that came up with this genetically good-looking child, or is it something that’s still much too close for comfort?
