Louis Vuitton Epi Denim Clery & Speedy25

Hello, it’s me doing my broken recorder spiel once again. Regarding what, you ask? Well, I said this once before, and I’ll say it again. Every time you walk into any Louis Vuitton you’ll be sure to spot something new as far as bags are concerned, and one could say they put out new styles faster than it takes rabbits to reproduce. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing if you’re always on a lookout for something new as far as your bag wardrobe is concerned.

Having stepped into Louis Vuitton just the other day, I’m happy to report that this is still true, and besides the tried-and-tested icons placed prominently at all corners of the boutique (why hello there Monogram Canvas Speedy, long time no see Epi Alma), there were new bags I’ve never seen, including the subject of today’s post, the Clery, and the iconic Speedy25 in a new ‘skin’.

First up, we’ve got the Clery, which is completely new to me. Measuring some 23 cm across by 17 cm in height, it resembles a shrunken briefcase, what with its flat top handle that can extended upwards (or pushed flat down), its front fold-over flap that opens into a rather roomy interior complete with designated card slots.

Available in 4 other different Epi colours besides the one in Epi Denim that’s shown above, the SGD2330 bag will make a great weekend companion, with or without its removable shoulder sling that’s length-adjustable.

The next bag, the Speedy25 Bandouliere definitely needs no explanation. An icon in its own right, it’s the fact that it now comes in Epi Denim that’s pretty amazing, like the Epi Speedy bags of the 90s sans sling. Priced at SGD2990 (it is leather after all, and not coated canvas), you’ll find both bags now at Louis Vuitton boutiques islandwide.
