If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that the more we can’t get something, the more we want it. Which is exactly the case of this new limited edition collaboration between Italian luxury powerhouse Gucci and artist Angelica Hicks, whom Creative Director Alessandro Michele first discovered on Instagram (where else, right?).
Here’s the bad news. These tees (which were all illustrated by Angelica Hicks) will only be available for sale on Gucci.com in US and Europe, which means we in Singapore (and the rest of the world) won’t be getting easy access.
Known as #GucciGeeks collectively, a total of 11 designs are available, and each will be sold in their own corresponding tin, which we think is even more covetable than the actual tee. And only 1100 of these tees are available (11 designs x 100 each), with each tee individually numbered 1 to 100 just so you know they are truly limited edition.
Priced at GBP285 for each ‘tinned tee’ (that is, tee along with the really cool metal tin), you should start asking your colleagues/friends/relatives in the UK and Europe for help (or do what I did and order using Borderlinx and paying with PayPal), in case you really, really, really want it. Because the more we can’t have it, the more we want it.
