While we in Singapore all look forward to that beach/island/resort getaway (never mind the irony that we all live on an island surrounded on all sides by the sea), nothing completes that look better than a pair of fresh slides that you can wear practically anywhere and everywhere. Throw on a tee (or a singlet, shudder) and a pair of shorts and you’re good to go. Or pair them with socks and sweatpants for a look that’s definitely street. Either way, it works.

Now because here at Bagaholicboy we strongly encourage the whole more-is-more movement, we’ve put together 9 different slides, one for every day of the week, plus a couple of spares if you want to, you know, mix it up. From the affordably-chic to the uber-luxe, let’s just slide right in.

First up, a pair each from Bottega Veneta, Fendi and Gucci which all come with leather uppers that expresses each brand’s iconic signatures. For Bottega Veneta, it’s that Intrecciato weave (USD560 via Mr Porter) while Fendi’s familiar zig-zag pattern comes adorned in bright rainbow hues (USD595 via SSENSE). Finally, there’s Gucci’s red-hot #GucciGhost (USD425 via SSENSE) that’s recognisable even from afar.

From weaves to zig-zags, we now move on to slides decorated with a camouflage pattern, a huge logo and stars. Give it a think and you’ll probably guess where they are from. Yes, there’s Valentino camouflage (USD270 via MATCHESFASHION), the huge logo one from Moschino (USD355 via SSENSE) and stars, stars and more stars on Givenchy’s slide (USD385 via SSENSE).

From the pricey, to the not-so-bads, finally it’s time for the most affordable trio of the 9. Pretty basic, but no less stylish, these all-rubber slides won’t have you wringing your hands to the high heavens if they happen to float away on the outgoing waves either. There’s a pair from streetwear giants Adidas (USD33 via Mr Porter), one from indie sportswear house Fila (USD33 via Urban Outfitters) and lastly, one for the eternally hungry, a pair from Marc Jacobs (USD125 via SSENSE) that has a cute burger printed across the upper of the sandal.

So, what will it be for you?
