Miu Miu’s Spring-Summer 2017 collection was all about beach vibes and snazzy towel prints featured on standout outwear pieces. What completed the entire beach look were these rubber pool slides that came in an array of colours like Light Blue, Pink and Red. Miuccia being Miuccia, she took on the regular pool sandal and made it uniquely Miu Miu, complete with interesting contours and Miu Miu logos on each slide.

Think of it this way. If a mermaid had legs these slippers would surely be one of her must-haves while shopping for fresh slides – the contours on the sole and toe strap are very reminiscent of fish scales and seashells, yes? Or flattened flower petals (have some imagination, can?) which gives it that flower children/back-to-nature vibe as well.
