Goyard Saigon

You asked, I answered. Yes, many of you have been asking recently regarding Goyard’s Saigon in Singapore, and because I haven’t done a post proper on this bag before, here goes. One of the first bags Goyard ever had when they came back into the spotlight, it is also the most reminiscent of Goyard’s trunks, what with its stiff structured body, the wooden lats that run down both sides of the bag and of course, that carved polished wooden top handle.

Available generally in 2 sizes, the PM and the MM which are sized 28 cm by 20 cm and 35 cm by 25 cm respectively, there’s also a newish mini size though I don’t have much info on that at the moment. Mostly covered in Goyard’s now iconic Goyardine coated-canvas with its sides and front flap finished in smooth leather, it’s a very proper bag. Handsome, in fact, something you’ll bring to state dinners and gala soirée if it were the ones that come in full leather, as well as an assortment in exotic skins.

But for the one with the Goyardine canvas, it’s pretty versatile, one that you can have slung over your shoulder (yes, it comes with a shoulder sling too) as you strut your stuff up and down Orchard Road over the weekends. Priced at SGD6210 and SGD8080 for the PM ones in classic and special colours respectively, while the MM in classic colours is priced at SGD7280, all of which you can check out now at Goyard Ngee Ann City.

Sadly though, the Saigon Mini is not available in Singapore, but here’s an adorable image of it anyway. An exact clone of its bigger siblings, the other difference (besides the size) is the absence of the two wooden lats on the front.
