Louis Vuitton Damier Nemeth Rope Collection

You’ve already seen the Monogram World Tour collection, Louis Vuitton’s dedicated Christmas collection created specially for the ladies (and boys who love their Monogram Canvas). Now feast your eyes on the men’s equivalent, which is basically a mash-up between something old and something new.

The old (or in this case, classic is the Damier Graphite coated-canvas), given new life with something new, a reanimation of a previous collaboration with artist Christopher Nemeth. Featuring his distinct rope print, the Damier Nemeth Rope collection, as it is called, comes in 2 colour combinations, a blue rope print on Damier Graphite, as well as a red rope print on other pieces.

Besides bags in at least 4 different styles (there are 2 backpacks, a messenger and a Keepall all adorned with the rope print), there’s also a huge variety of SLGs, which in my opinion are always welcome stocking stuffers.

From the Damier Graphite Rope Bleu Ambler (a generously-proportioned bumbag, if you must know) that retails for SGD2200 to the PF Slender (LV’s standard 8 card billfold wallet, SGD745) and Zippy Coin Purse (SGD610), you’ll be hard-pressed to find a style not to your liking, especially with the variety of styles available.

Then there are these, from the classic Zippy Organiser Wallet (SGD1440) to the PF Brazza in Brazza Damier Graphite Rope Rouge (a long wallet with a single zip compartment on the inside), one of the styles I swear by that retails for just SGD1030. And in case you’re in the market for a new zip portfolio, the Pochette Jour GM (shown at the top of this post, SGD1010) is a good option, the 34 cm by 25 cm case big enough for say, a MacBook Air. Or an iPad, documents and then some, but you know what I mean. But if you want something from LV but this is just not your thing, hit this link and check out the other new crowd favourite from the French luxury house this season, Monogram Eclipse.
