‘How far would you go for love?’ Yes, it’s a question as old as time itself, and one that many have asked themselves (or their loved ones) through the centuries. Thankfully, this post won’t attempt to delve into it any further. Instead, it’s all about Cartier’s LOVE collection, first created in the 70s and today an iconic symbol of love that has stood the test of time with a design that’s as timeless as it gets.
More popularly known for its bracelets and rings, the LOVE collection also encompasses a selection of earrings and necklaces which aren’t as notable, in part because (and this is my theory) if you have LOVE, you want others to know (and see) it too.
At its very basic, the LOVE bracelets come in solid gold (or rose gold) with the iconic screw motifs that go around the circumference of the bracelet. Requiring a screwdriver which allows you to wear (or remove) the bracelet, the accompanying screwdriver is also crafted in solid gold, and the set of two will come priced at SGD8650. The one in white gold? SGD9250.

After that, the sky’s the limit, with LOVE bracelets coming in styles that include 4 or 10 diamonds, styles that include solid gold cuffs, delicate bracelets, bracelets that come with fancy gems, even a heart-stopping diamond-paved piece that comes priced at SGD45,400.

For those with more modest means, there are the rings, from the solid gold LOVE bands that come priced at SGD1450 (yes, that’s right) all the way to some SGD20,500 for a jaw-dropping white gold ring that comes studded with diamonds. In other words, when it comes to love, Cartier is simply saying this. It doesn’t matter what your budget is (because you’ll definitely be able to find something to love, just click on this link to see them all as well as their prices in SGD), it’s just a question of how far you would go for love.
