Due in Singapore anytime soon are these, the new F/W16 Small Heart Chain Bag slings from Saint Laurent. Very retro, very Studio 54, very 90s, which brings me to my next point. If you think about it, heart-shaped bags have been around every decade, they never seem to go out of style, and no matter what year it reappears in, women will find them hard to resist since who doesn’t love love anyway, right?

But back to the bags at hand. Definitely giving off a Studio 54 vibe more than anything else, there’s something about the oversized YSL logo, that slinky gold chain and even that quilted matelassé leather that just screams the sexy 70s. Measuring 16 cm across (and top to bottom) at its widest points, the 100% calfskin leather slings come lined with suede.

And with a drop of almost 60 cm, you can easily put on some high heels, slap on some red lippy and sling this baby across the body for the crazy night out on the town. No word yet on its retail price in SGD, but you can always check with our local Saint Laurent boutiques located at ION Orchard and Marina Bay Sands.
