First, the good news. It has been a while since French luxury house Dior did any collaborations with anyone, so imagine my surprise when this landed in my inbox. Created to fête the grand opening of Dior’s flagship at New Bond Street, this collab, with British sculptor and visual artist Mark Quinn, will see a limited edition collection of bags including the Lady Dior and various SLGs released to mark the occasion. The bad news? It will only be available at the aforementioned flagship in London, which means none of us here or in the region will be able to get anything locally. In other words. Nada. Zilch. Don’t have.
Still, if you’re a die-hard fan of anything Dior, you’ll most probably find a way to get it, be it flying to London yourself or getting one of your jet-setting friends to pick one up for you on the way back. After all, in this day and age, nothing is impossible when it comes to shopping anymore, right?

Besides this pair of smaller Lady Dior bags (one looks like varnished printed leather, the other just looks incredibly expensive with its etched relief patterns in silver leather, I’m assuming here), the limited edition collection will also feature larger Lady Dior bags with huge orchid motifs, another Lady Dior printed with something resembling a giant eyeball, clutches, card cases and even a long wallet, which I’ll feature in its own album on Facebook soon. And when there’s a will, there’s always a way…
