Bagaholicboy News #289 – H&M Announces 2016 Designer Collaboration With LVMH-Owned KENZO!

Yes, you read it here first, exclusively on Bagaholicboy. After months of anticipation, H&M has announced that their designer collaboration for 2016 will be LVMH-owned Paris-based KENZO, led by American designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon.

Hot on the heels of their Holt Renfrew collaboration that will benefit Blue Marine Foundation, a British marine conservation charity that will see the Canadian retailer sell 2 specially-designed SLGs, the KENZO X H&M is going to be huge, with collections for both men and women confirmed at the time of writing this post.

It’s also, if I’m not wrong, the first LVMH and H&M collaboration, with past designer collaborations featuring the likes of Versace, Marni, Maison Martin Margiela, Isabel Marant, Alexander Wang and Balmain.

What will be the pieces offered from this collaboration that will be launched worldwide on 3 November 2016? Will it feature Kenzo’s much-loved Eyes On You or Tiger print? Or will there be new designs from the American duo that promise to dazzle even the most jaded of customers? Everything is still pretty much up in the air so please stay tuned for more updates. #KENZOXHM
