Just when you thought you’ve already seen everything Chanel had to offer as far as their bags from their S/S16 collection is concerned, I got news for you. You haven’t.
Besides the ones you saw (and bought) at the #ChanelxPedderonScotts pop-up which has since ended, there are also these pieces that weren’t available then but you can now find at Chanel’s own boutiques at Marina Bay Sands and Ngee Ann City. What I would refer to as the more ‘classic’ bags, they are less runway trend-oriented and more, can I say, bags you can use for a really long time to come.
First up, a selection of Boy Chanel bags (shown above) that include the one in lambskin that’s embellished with the most delicate of floral embroidery (25 cm by 14.5 cm), as well as a pair that come with alternating strips of both grained and suede calfskin. Available in Black or White, they come in 2 sizes and are priced at SGD7420 (28 cm by 17.5 cm) and SGD6850 (25 cm by 14.5 cm) respectively.

More Boy Chanel boys, but this time in a fancy combination of fabric, mesh and resin for a bag that’s also fresher/lighter/younger. Priced at SGD4260 for the smaller ones that measures 20 cm by 12 cm, it also comes in a larger size (25 cm by 14.5 cm) which retails for SGD4630.

Rounding up the selection, the smaller Vanity Case (21 cm by 16 cm) that comes in a lovely Beige and retails for SGD5590. Then there’s the mini luggage minaudière which comes with an actual retractable top handle and movable wheels. Adorable much really.
Last but not least, a pair of Classic Flap bags that come styled a tad differently. More elongated than your usual Classic Flap pieces, they resemble messengers, especially with the metal chain on leather sling straps. Available in 2 sizes in grained calfskin, they measure 32 cm by 17 cm and 26 cm by 15 cm respectively, and price wise, retail for SGD4710 and SGD4390 apiece. In other words, if you’re keen on this style, I believe they are also priced way lower than regular CF bags which makes them a good buy. Because I would.

any idea if that vanity case featured in the blog fits an ipad mini?
The one shown in the blog post measures 21 cm by 16 cm. Which would fit but a snug one at that. The vanity case also comes in a larger size that measures 24 by 17 cm (SGD6220). Maybe you can consider that instead?
