Bulgari Bvlgari-Bvlgari Roman Sorbets Collection

I know what you’re thinking, at first glance they look like delectable sweets, right? And that’s the exact premise of Bulgari’s new Bvlgari-Bvlgari Roman Sorbets collection, a new line of jewellery that will be launched in Singapore sometime in end May/early June 2016.

Inspired by the humble yet delicious sorbet that’s as iconic to Italy as Bulgari is to Rome, it is said that Roman Emperor Nero had slaves run to the mountains for fresh ice which was then flavoured with fruit juice, and that was quite possibly the origins of the sorbet (or sorbetti in Italian) we know and love today.

With precious gems like pink tourmalines and sapphires ‘scooped’ into bands of solid pink gold or white gold, you’ll find a range of jewellery pieces from the Bvlgari-Bvlgari Roman Sorbets collection, including my favourites, pendants that come with chains and of course, the rings that will add the right amount of sparkle to any finger.

Prices will start from just SGD3000 (MYR8000) for the pink gold band with pink tourmalines and amethysts and go up to SGD5140 (MYR14,500) for the white gold pendant necklace with blue sapphires and tsavorites. In other words, if you’re looking for something sweet that will never ‘melt’, maybe these are the sorbets you should pick up.
