If you’re only doing only one thing this long weekend, then it had better be this. Head down to Pedder on Scotts at Scotts Square and check out (or in this case check in) Chanel’s first ever pop-up store in Singapore to date, and from the looks of it, it is also one of the biggest ever pulled off in the region.
Spanning the entire second floor of Scotts Square, you’ll be seeing most everything from Chanel’s S/S16 collection spread out on the specially created installation which includes a conveyor belt filled with plastic trays, more commonly seen in airports, filled to the brim with the season’s best. From seasonal Classic Flap and Boy boys to purses and wallets, you’ll also find the collection’s most desirable accessories, including the caps, sunglasses and those oh-so-cute airplane shaped brooch pins that were being snapped up left, right and centre last night during the preview launch party.
Stocks are limited, but both Chanel and On Pedder have assured me that more arrivals will be coming in soon, so my best advice for you is just to head down, try whatever you wish to buy and see if it’s available. If not, just put your name down on the wait list and keep those fingers crossed, specially since the #ChanelxPedderonScotts pop-up will be at Scotts Square from today till 3 April 2016.
Another reason why you should head there? With any purchase of Chanel RTW, bags, accessories or even cosmetics and skincare at Pedder on Scotts you’ll also receive a limited edition pack of stickers (yes, the type you can stick on your Rimowa trunks, see first image) that were specially created just for this pop-up, but stocks are limited so again, head down soon.
For those of you who are new to the blog (or haven’t caught up with Chanel’s S/S16 collection as yet), scroll down and check out the previous posts, which include some collaborations I did with Chanel for this event and write-ups on the collection proper, including the travel trolley we all want, the #CocoCase.
