Yes, it’s the night before Valentine’s Day and you’re in mild panic mode. Yes, you already bought the flowers, but it’s not looking as grand as you imagine. And the gift, you seriously gave it as much thought as you could, especially when you barely scraped through with the Christmas one but you’re still coming up short. A ring would be nice, but it couldn’t be just any ring, and the ones you’re already eyeing easily cost 3 grand and up, which is a tad more than you budgeted for.
So what do you do? You head down to Cartier, of course. More specifically, head to the glass counter which holds the Trinity de Cartier rings and point to the 3-gold one that retails for SGD1570. No, you’re not reading it wrong, there is really a ring from Cartier that costs just that, a Trinity de Cartier, no less, in rose, yellow and white gold.

Actually, it doesn’t even have to cost that much. The rings actually start from SGD1100 for thinnest bands, followed by the SGD1570 ones (they are both shown above) that I feel are just about right for most fingers of both men and women. They then go up to SGD2170 and SGD3650 respectively for the even thicker ones, but those I feel would be a tad too much for most people.
In other words, head down to Cartier stat tomorrow morning, pick up the SGD1570 Trinity de Cartier 3-gold ring because it’s a real deal, get it packaged into Cartier’s beautiful red box and watch her (or him) smile when they open it. You can always thank me later.

Bought it as my replacement wedding band and I have my 3 kids’ name engraved on the rings. This way they stay in my heart forever.
Now that’s really sweet!
I always love reading your writing! They are like beautiful bedtime stories for adults! (In a good way!)
This came in good time. I’ve been looking for a replacement for my wedding band for a while.
