Coach turns 75 this year, and to celebrate 75 years of craftsmanship and innovation, you can be sure that the American fashion house would have lined up an interesting slew of limited editions just to commemorate this occasion.

But before that happens, let’s turn the spotlight on the S/S16 Saddle, a new bag of sorts that comes in different sizes for both women and men. It’s new because you could call it a re-issue of the original Saddle Bag that was first launched in 1972.

Whilst the shape by and large remains the same (it’s basically a U-shaped shoulder/messenger with a front leather flap and an adjustable sling), the new collection comes in 2 sizes for the ladies, the Saddle23 and the regular Saddle which measure in at 23 cm and 28 cm respectively.

Made of glove-tanned leather with stitched detailing that goes around the flap of the bag, you can find the Saddle in a wide variety of colours, with the outside contrasted with another bright hue within where you’ll also find 2 roomy compartments, a zip compartment and various patch pockets.

Priced at SGD825 and SGD1120 for the two sizes, there is also a much larger version for the guys, the Saddle38 which retails for SGD1375, all of which you can now check out at Coach boutiques at Wisma Atria, Paragon (new flagship alert!) and of course, Marina Bay Sands.
