Long overdue, but better late than never, Loewe opens their first Casa Loewe concept store at Paragon along Orchard Road, which also happens to be a first in Southeast Asia for the 170-year-old Spanish luxury leather house. First making its debut in Tokyo under the auspices of Creative Director Jonathan Anderson, Casa Loewe stores have since been launched in Milan, which also makes Singapore having the 3rd such store in the world. Paying homage to the Barcelona-based architect Javier Carvajal, each Casa Loewe around the world reinterprets the luxury brand’s abundant aesthetic heritage with refined design.
So what can you expect from the new Loewe opening? For starters, fuller collections from both lines (including more bags and accessories, of course) for men and women, exclusive Singapore-only bags in selected colours to herald this occasion, and last but not least, the all-white Repeat Anagram collection that first made its debut at Miami’s Art Basel exhibition, making them must-have collectors’ pieces for fans of Loewe.
This opening (the store at Paragon officially opens to the public today) brings the number of Loewe stores in Singapore to 3, including the ones already at Marina Bay Sands and Ngee Ann City. But it is only at the new Casa Loewe store that you’ll be able to watch artisans flown in from Spain working on actual pieces including the new Elephant bag, and pick up exclusives from the all-white Repeat Anagram collection to the aforementioned Elephant bag in Red that’s perfect for the upcoming Lunar New Year festivities.
