You’ve already seen the H&M + Balmain #BALMAINATION ad campaign, and other bits and bobs online including pics of the pieces from the collection. With less than a month before the limited edition collection is launched worldwide including in Singapore at H&M stores at Orchard Building and ION Orchard, here’s a quick look at the mens lookbook and its prices in SGD, specially for those of you who are planning to get yourself some Balmain on our little red dot.
A mix of statement pieces and easy separates that are signature Balmain make up most of the mens collection, with colours predominantly running from blacks to blues to whites and of course, olive greens, which is my personal favourite hue of late.
As far as the prices for the boys go, they start from SGD49.90 for a linen tank top and go up all the way to SGD899 for an embroidered cotton jacket, also the most expensive piece from this collaboration. There’s a belt in suede (SGD99.90), a lambskin leather wallet (to match the lambskin backpack) at SGD59.90, a pair of sunnies (SGD79.90) and 4 styles of footwear, from hightop sneakers to leather boots ranging from SGD249 to SGD399.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but most everyone will be after the Balmain tees (SGD59.90), but here’s something to note. According to the H&M spokesperson, the tees sold here will not say France, but be printed with the country/region they are sold in. For Singapore, that means that our tees here will come printed with Asia. Yes, Balmain Asia.
One more thing. Items marked with * are strictly limited edition, which means there could be only be one piece per size when this collaboration is launched in Singapore on 5 November 2015. And if I missed out on any pieces for the men, do leave a comment here and I’ll update it accordingly. As for the ladies, hang on, your post with all the most desirable pieces from the collaboration is coming up next. Any other questions?
