It would be hard to miss Tod’s new bag offering for F/W15, especially if you walked past any of the two Tod’s boutiques in Singapore recently. Simply known as the Wave, the easiest way to describe it would be to recall the Cape, another bag from Tod’s that was released last season. Whilst the Cape‘s leather flaps folded inside out, it is the reverse with the Wave
whose flaps fold outside in.

More importantly, it’s another Tod’s bag that you can tell Creative Director Alessandra Facchinetti has put much effort into, for a design that’s not only original but something that women will find easy to use. Employing the use of a single long top handle (that’s obviously to allow one to wear it effortlessly on the shoulder), the flap opens up to reveal a bulbous roomy interior, great for all sorts of work (or play) essentials. In addition, because it comes with a long shoulder sling as well, you can also wear it over the shoulder or across the body.

Available in at least 3 sizes (Mini, Small and Medium), you can now check them out at Tod’s boutiques in Ngee Ann City and Paragon, where they come in a variety of leathers from grained to smooth calf to suede. As far as its prices are concerned, there’s a Medium (32 cm by 24 cm) on Net-A-Porter going for GBP1210, or around SGD2500 after conversion.

In other words, it’s another office-worthy workhorse at a rather good price definitely worth your consideration.
