To mark Singapore’s upcoming Golden Jubilee (or #SG50, in layman speak), Louis Vuitton has a launched a series of special products and services specially created to fête our 50 years as a nation. For starters, Louis Vuitton has partnered with students from SOTA to create 3 beautiful illustrations (one of which is above shown above) that you can have painted onto your Louis Vuitton trunk, a service that will also only be available at Louis Vuitton Island Maison at Marina Bay Sands.
There’s also a specially designed Tambour Monogram (25 pieces only, SGD3800 apiece), a Singapore edition of Ruben Toledo’s Artist Edition which features 15 drawings signed and numbered by the artist (1 box set only, SGD8800), as well as this, the Monogram Rouge Petite Malle trimmed with a colour so red that it’s something all Singaporeans can easily identify with. Only 38 pieces ever made, each Petite Malle will come with a matching bright red leather sling and engraved with the words ‘Limited Edition Singapore Jubilee 2015‘ on the inside. Priced at SGD7050 apiece, you can reserve them now at Louis Vuitton boutiques at MBS, Ngee Ann City or ION Orchard where they’ll be released for sale sometime in late June/early July.
