From everyone’s secret (and favourite) recently-revived small luxury goods house Fauré Le Page comes the Calibre 21, a new handbag that at first might look odd to those who are not in the know. Intrinsically tied to the French marque that first saw its origins as an armoury maker back when it was established in 1717, it even supplied arms to the French Revolution in 1789.
These days, however, Fauré Le Page is committed to the fine art of making bags (not war) and the Calibre 21 is the latest addition to its arsenal. Inspired by cartridge boxes and hunting bags, the boxy handbag (measuring some 21 cm across) comes with both a top handle and a long sling. Additionally, it sports a monogrammed cut-out of a handgun which doubles up as a coin purse on the front, a nice contrast to an otherwise clean grained leather bag.
Available in all of Fauré Le Page’s signature colours (Bleu Paon, Bordeaux, Marine, Noir and Vert that’s shown above), you can pick one up for yourself at their sole boutique located at 21 Rue Cambon (or just beside Chanel’s Rue Cambon flagship in Paris) for EUR860 a pop.

Hi, may I know if the Le 35 mm is a permanent item and the current retail price? Thank you.
Good morning,
What would you recommend if I could only afford 1 piece of this beauty? I’m petite ie 5’1″. Looking forward to your sage advice and impeccable taste! Thank you!
Hello Mei! Really depends on what you are looking for? Do you mean which colour to pick from the Calibre21 collection or which bag from FLP in general?
Hi, I just got back from Europe and forgot to check this brand. Could I order from here to be sent to Singapore or Bali?
You can’t order from me, but you can drop them an email at [email protected], they will be more than happy to take your order and have it sent anywhere in the world.
There is another Fauré Le Page shop at Galeries Lafayette, Boulevard Haussmann in Paris.
hi, do you know if they have other stores other than in paris? thank you so much for replying.
Not outside Paris for the moment. The good news is that they do take email orders, so you can always just email them and have a bag sent over to wherever you are.
How much does it cost?
The price is in the blog post. EUR860 for the bag. And yes, a thank you would be nice.
Hi. Just want to know If this is a limited or a permanent collection. Thanks.
Should be permanent. Thanks for dropping by.
I have this in Grey, Blue and Green. Too bad the Burgundy one is not for sale! Fresh from 21 Rue Cambon (enough of 31 already!)
I also got the Daily Battle in Green. It WAS an inner battle trying to decide on only these few!
Good for you! #anyexcusetoshop
