Boys, here’s a heads-up you shouldn’t miss out on. From the Fall-Winter 2015 Mens Louis Vuitton collection comes a line-up of RTW, bags, SLGS and accessories featuring designs from late artist Christopher Nemeth. And his works, which feature his distinct deconstructed signature is apparent in these pieces, from his ‘needle and thread’ to prints featuring a cross-section of open yarns threads.
And because it would take forever and a day to list out every single item that I love from this collection (and trust me, there are many, from the Keepall carryalls to the backpacks and even the hard-sided trunks covered with a piece of ‘carpet’), consider this your quick sneak peek with prices in SGD as an added bonus.
Available in two colourways with graphics printed on either Monogram Canvas or Damier Graphite, the slip-on loafer will set you back by SGD935, for example. Other pieces, like the Brazza Wallet, the clutch and the little pouch with the sling will cost SGD1070, SGD900 and SGD900 respectively. The key ring? Well, that’s SGD395, not bad for something you could use as a matching-on-matching piece for your other Louis Vuitton pieces.
There will more updates soon, but for now, if there’s anything else in this collection you need details or prices for, just drop a comment below.
UPDATE: 24 August 2015
Yes, it’s true. As far as the rest of the world is concerned, only the Nemeth pieces in Damier Graphite will be available, while the pieces in Monogram Canvas (and yes, they are the more coveted ones) will only be available in Japan. Maybe it’s to pay homage to the country where Christopher Nemeth loved and still has his namesake shop in, or maybe stocks for those pieces are really limited, we’ll never know. But if you have to get one of those, you’ll have to head to Japan.
