Louis Vuitton S/S15 Monogram V & Ramages Collection

louis_vuitton_ss15-monogram-v-ramages-collection With Singapore in full summer mode (well, that is Singapore’s climate most of the year), Louis Vuitton has two new collections up for your perusal. Called Monogram V and Ramages respectively, the former refers to anything that comes emblazoned with either a huge pink or turquoise V (an ode to a Louis Vuitton ad from the 60s) while the latter’s print looks like a mish-mash of branches and petals.

So what you can expect from these 2 collections? Well, a whole suite of bags, SLGs and accessories, of course, from the Ramages Keepall45 (USD2200) to the matching Ramages Neverfull MM (USD1620). Accompanying the bags are various SLGs, from the Ramages Zippy Wallet (USD905) to the Ramages Cosmetic Pouch (USD570). And with the print looking like a cross between Takashi Murakami’s work and an under-the-sea scene, this collection should do well amongst the beach-going set.

Next up we’ve got the Monogram V collection, which also comes in a Speedy30 (USD1390), a Neverfull MM (USD1620), as well as the much smaller Pochette Accessories (USD660), great for ‘small’ days when you have nothing much to carry around. Along with various SLGs, it also comes in the form of a bag charm, the Illustré printed with an iconic V that’s priced at USD225.

My only gripe? It would have been nice to see the Monogram V (in Turquoise no less) on a Keepall45 that would make even me weak in the knees but it doesn’t seem it would be available for sale. For everything else, you can head down to Louis Vuitton boutiques across the island, from Marina Bay Sands and ION Orchard to Ngee Ann City, Raffles Hotel and T Galleria along Scotts Road.
