Following their recent collab with wunderkind Pharrell Williams, French luxury leather marque Moynat is back with another, this time with Hiroshi Fujiwara, himself a celebrated multihyphenate and the man behind FRGMT, his Tokyo-based company Fragment Design.
Now on to the bag proper. Literally translated, Cabas Jardinier means gardener’s tote, and just by looking at it you’ll surely be able to tell why. Besides the long handles that ensure comfort when carried over the shoulder, you’ll also find multiple pockets that run along the exterior of the tote on top of its already roomy interior.
Measuring some 40 cm across, the limited edition tote will sell for JPY212,976, or around SGD2400 after conversion. Available in 2 colours (Carbon and Sepia, shown above), they should sell out pretty fast, especially since only a small quantity were ever made.
For those who prefer the Cabas Jardinier without the print, two sizes will be available for your picking, a 40 cm and a 35 cm that are priced at JPY198,288 and JPY183,600 respectively.
Only available at Moynat’s pop-up in Isetan Shinjuku (Luxury Stage, Level 4), sale of these limited edition bags (along with other Moynat desirables) will kick off on 25 March 2015.
