Everyone knows I’m now #teamnike (and before that it was #teamnewbalance), but that’s not the point of this post. Well, actually it is. Everything was fine and dandy with me checking out Nike’s new arrivals via END. and believing it was enough. And it was, until these popped up on my Instagram feed.
Inspired by the humble blue/red/white checked carry-all shoppers that rule the shopping streets of wholesale Hong Kong, this collaboration, between CLOT and Adidas Consortium, comes with that ubiquitous print complete with 3 translucent stripes that’s the sneaker maker’s trademark.
Priced at GBP79 a pair and available online via END. on 28 March 2015 (I don’t know anywhere else that is retailing these so drop a comment if you do), these are the shoes that just might pull me to the other side and convert me to #teamadidas. Or maybe not. What do you think?
