Because there is more to Chanel than just your standard Classic Flap or the 2.55, here are 6 other bags from the Pre-Spring 2015 Womens Chanel collection that will hopefully pique your interest and warrant a trip down to your nearest Chanel boutique since they are also already in stores by now.
Besides the Deauville Denim Bowling that was featured yesterday (and a must-buy in my books), here are the 6 (clockwise from top with sizes and prices) for your kind perusal. First up, the Small Calfskin Messenger that comes with its very own top handle and zip pocket at the back. The quilted leather darling comes in at 18 cm by 12 cm and will retail for SGD4280.
Next, the retro-looking Small Jersey Flap (22 cm by 12 cm) that lets you wear it at least 3 different ways. Priced at SGD4110, it’s also a fuss-free bag that’s easy to maintain. Then there’s the tiny night-out-on-the-town number, the Lambskin Flap Bag that’s a wee 20 cm by 11 cm. Retailing for SGD4300, there’s something about its grey-lilac leather and burnished gunmetal hardware that’s quite sexy as well.
Ok, so it’s not exactly new, but since the Boy Chanel is neither a 2.55 nor a Classic Flap, it can be included in this lineup. Measuring some 15 cm by 9.5 cm, this little darling comes in exotic galuchat (or stingray in layman terms) that’s then trimmed with lambskin and chunky burnished hardware.
Looking almost like the Classic Flap (but not) is the Lambskin Flap Bag, another retro-looking number that comes with an additional flap of leather that’s also part of the bag’s built-in ‘security system’. Coming in at 26 cm by 15.5 cm, this quilted leather number will set you back by SGD5770. Last but not least, the Fringed Denim Flap Bag that’s more Laneway than ZoukOut, another bag that’s also built to last, what with its denim body that’s also virtually indestructible as far as mould and mildew is concerned. Priced at SGD4110, the 26 cm by 15 cm sling bag is also one that’s great for casual weekends in town, a travel sling for nearby vacation haunts, and of course, that hipster music festival.
