With Mr Porter at up to 70% off now for selected bags, shoes and RTW, I couldn’t resist having another look and came across this gem of a bag (well, it’s technically luggage) that though is not 70% off, is still a steal at 50% off.
From Globe-Trotter comes this special edition made specially for Mr Porter, an 18″ carry-on case that comes in blue that’s then trimmed with sand-coloured leather on both handles and as well the protective patches on each corner. Made of vulcanised fibreboard that’s technically a laminated plastic composed of only cellulose, it’s touted to be lighter than aluminium and stronger than leather, which in turn are two very good reasons for those who prefer their carry-ons to be both light and strong.
Originally priced at GBP749, it’s now reduced by 50%, or GBP374.50. Which is around SGD750 after conversion, a steal considering what you’ll have to pay for lesser brands sans the craftsmanship and heritage that Globe-Trotter has to offer. Plus it’s mighty hipster-cool too.
