Believe it or not, Céline’s Classic Box is almost 5 years old today, which is an achievement in itself since many other new bags don’t even last a season. And considering the fact that it’s basically a slightly-rounded shoulder bag with a front flap that’s anchored with a clasp takes the achievement to a whole new level. Why? Because despite the fact that there are many out there styled the exact same way, there’s just this extra something-something about her that has guaranteed her longevity. It could be down to her classic good looks, her sought-after status or some might even say, the magic of Phoebe Philo.

Regardless though, it’s a bag that I have personally adored since day one, and if I ever complied a list of ten bags every woman should own at least once in her lifetime, you can bet your last dollar that this beauty will be on my list.
