It all started with an Instagram post from Colette that caught my eye. In 7 words, they announced that there would be a Coach + Snoopy collection (how did I not know about this?) and that it will be pre-launched at their store on 13 October before the worldwide release (what, so soon?). Which left me with the only thing I could do. Google.
And after 10 minutes of intense Googling with all the relevant keywords I could think of, this is what I know of this upcoming collaboration that will be first launched at Colette on 13 October, before its launch online via Coach on 24 October (and I’m assuming, along with the rest of the stores in the world). In an exclusive to ELLE.com, the collection will include bags, SLGs and accessories embossed with your favourite Peanuts characters, along with a small line of tees and a set of specially-numbered Snoopy dolls crafted out of black leather.
Available in 4 different sizes, this collection also kicks off a series of themed collaborations that Coach’s executive creative director, Stuart Vevers, will be doing that ties back to the American brand’s heritage and give icons like the Peanuts crew a platform on which to shine.
There’s no word yet on what we’ll be getting for Singapore (or their prices in SGD), so expect an update or two soon. There will be an app that will be filled with fun quizzes, let you shop for your favourite pieces from the collection (this I think will only work for those in the US) and a cool photo function that allows you to add your beloved Peanuts characters to your snapshots. Fun!
