If you need further proof that Chanel can do no wrong, then just watch the beautiful new campaign that celebrates the French house’s most well-known fragrance, the N°5. Herself an icon that Marilyn Monroe famously declared once that it was the only thing she ‘wore’ to bed, Karl Lagerfeld assembled a stellar cast for this ad campaign, from supermodel Gisele Bündchen to Game Of Thrones actor Michiel Huisman playing her love interest.
Directed by award-winning director Baz Luhrmann, whom we can always depend on for the glamorous sets and sweeping views, it’s singer Lo-Fang who stole the show with his haunting cover of Olivia Newton-John’s You’re The One That I Want. A beautiful rendition that replaces the need for words or dialogue in the campaign film, it is also reflective of Luhrmann’s cinematic style.
