If you’re reading this post, you would have figured out the following. That I’m beside myself that I’m on my way to Seoul to attend Chanel’s new exhibition that will officially open on 30 August 2014 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP). That it’s a first on both counts for me (my first time to South Korea, my first time on an official work trip for Chanel overseas) makes this adventure all the more sweeter.
Previously held in cities like Beijing, Paris and Shanghai, Culture Chanel will approach the French house’s creative language through the locations that greatly inspired Gabrielle Chanel with over 500 artefacts from photographs to books, objects and manuscripts, to archives and artworks, along with fashion, jewellery, watch and perfume creations.
Which I’ll hopefully be able to capture and present on my various social media platforms from tweets to Instagram snapshots. And in case it’s not obvious enough, you will also be able to see all the highlights from this trip on the blog’s homepage with what I’m calling my ‘super-sized wall’, which if it works beautifully will be an additional tool I’ll be using for all work trips just to give you all quicker access to everything I put out online.
Now just sit back, relax and come on this journey with this thrilled #fanboy. It’s going to be an exciting, Chanel-filled 3 days.
