In the left corner we’ve got Binx Walton, and on the right, Cara Delevingne. Surrounding them are lots of Chanel bags, more specifically, bags from Chanel’s upcoming F/W14 collection. And because it would just be too predictable to shoot the ad campaign in a faux but fabulous supermarket setting where the runway presentation was held, Karl Lagerfeld instead decided to shoot the stills in a boxing gym which complements Chanel’s next big offering, those drool-worthy sneakers, perfectly.
But enough about those sneakers (you can read about them here), let’s focus on the wall of bags, 42 of them, to be exact, which you’ll find at Chanel boutiques come September. From the luscious pink Boy Chanel to the sling bag shaped like a milk carton, this is how I would probably display my own Chanel collection if it were this big to begin with.
And then we have stills like these, with models Binx and Cara living the sporting life fashionably, from running in tweed jackets on the track to lifting weights in a corded sweater. And of course, more sneakers, which last I checked will retail for around USD1350 a pair. No word yet on their prices in SGD, or the prices of the key bags as yet from the F/W14 collection, so do stay tuned for another update.
