Gone are the whimsical sets and quirky animals (do you remember the furry monster from the forest, or the owls in the great house?) from seasons past, instead you’ve got model Cara Delevingne frolicking in the Scottish Highlands for Mulberry’s latest seasonal ad campaign.
Shot and styled by long-time Mulberry collaborators Tim Walker and Edward Enninful respectively, the campaign focuses on the bags that will hopefully put the British brand back into the spotlight, the Mulberry + Cara Delevingne collection that features backpacks that can be worn 3 ways, comes in 3 sizes and a multitude of finishes.
Created in collaboration with the model, the bags are as distinct as Cara herself, infused with a touch of cool that won’t be out of place whether you’re in the town or the country. But more on the backpacks later, for now let’s just enjoy the rest of the campaign.
There’s the new Bayswater Buckle, which I blogged about here recently. Featuring exposed buckles and slightly longer top handles, the one Cara’s carrying, in the smallest size, is pretty adorable, I must say. Priced at GBP995, you’ll find it online now in Black or Oxblood.
