Hot on the heels of Dior’s Fusion Sneakers (I’m sorry, I couldn’t resist), we’ve got these babies from the magically maniacal mind of Karl Lagerfeld and his take on the sneaker, which after the likes of Miu Miu, Prada and Valentino has been elevated to a fashion staple that no one should do without.
And because they are Chanel, you can trust them to make this shoe even more desirable with the F/W14 sneaker collection that’s made up of at least 10 different styles. Lavished with the most luxurious of spun wool tweed in a wide variety of colours and combinations, it’s juxtaposed against strips of iridescent PVC and set onto a thick rubber sole that’s also stamped with the Chanel’s double C logo on the bottom.
Due out in Chanel boutiques come September 2014, I would advise those who are keen on getting themselves a pair (or all 10) to march down and put yourself on the wait list. Because while I don’t have any update on their retail price as yet, I’m telling you these will be gone in a jiffy guaranteed.
